The Statistical Consulting Service is a team of faculty,
staff, and graduate students in the Department of
Statistics. Our mission is to provide professional
statistical consulting support to OSU researchers and external
clients in business, science, industry, and government. The
SCS provides support in the areas of:
The SCS welcomes researchers who have collected data and would
like help finding the most effective analysis for answering
research questions.
In addition, SCS consultants provide collaborative support in
the planning, design, and management of research projects.
When possible, it is strongly recommended that you contact the
SCS early in the planning stages of a project to establish a
collaborative relationship with the SCS and ensure the highest
quality results. SCS consultants are available to help in
preparing budget estimates and other relevant sections of
grant and project proposals.
